The unique game concept was born out of a desire to create a more enjoyable and challenging "CHESS" gameplay that incorporated some childhood memories of old Roman and other period battle films wherin Great Kings would sit upon a hill while overseeing various strategic battle formations as they unfolded. Once both sides had their Armies deployed, often times the better planned formation may have an advantage, thus an opposing army may have to re-adjust their battle strategy in order to prevail. KINGS BATTLEFIELD ® offers just such an exciting gameplay that allows a player to "feel" like their truly commanding a siege on a "battlefield".
